Heat recovery unit service and filter replacement
A heat recovery ventilation unit runs around the clock, and all the indoor air passes through it. We clean units and replace filters in apartments, houses and commercial premises, and bring filters for any model.

What the service includes

- Cleaning the heat exchanger
- Cleaning the unit casing and condensate drain

- Duct and air valve cleaning on request
Include the unit model in your request — it’s on the label on the unit. Then we’ll bring the right filters.
Signs
When a unit needs servicing
Clogged filters and a dirty heat exchanger are one of the most common reasons a unit gets noisy. It has to work harder: less air may get through and more electricity may be used.
It’s worth booking a service if the unit has got louder, the rooms feel stuffy or the filters haven’t been changed for more than six months.
How often
How often to service a heat recovery unit
Exact intervals are in your unit’s manual. As a general rule of thumb:
- Filters — replace at least twice a year, more often in dusty locations.
- Unit — have it cleaned and inspected once a year.
- Ducts — usually clean every 5–10 years, or depending on their condition.
