What affects the price
Type of ventilation
Natural ventilation, mechanical extract or a heat recovery unit — each involves a different amount of work.
Number of valves and ducts
The more air valves and the longer the ducts, the longer the job takes.
Access
Ducts in the attic, between floors or behind a suspended ceiling take longer than exposed ducts.
How dirty the system is
If the ducts haven’t been cleaned for years or contain kitchen grease, the job takes longer.
Unit and filters
Whether the ventilation unit needs cleaning and the filters replacing.
Cooker hood duct
Whether the duct above the cooker needs cleaning too.
